THE ASTROLOGICAL CONTEXT
On March 18 at 9:23 PM EST, we are present for the Pisces New Moon. Mercury is in the last days of active retrograde, and the Moon is in a strong sextile with (or 60 degrees of) Uranus in Taurus, generating a flow and overall sense of alignment between our dreamy depths and a willfulness towards passion and transformation.
Venus is in Aries in the 6th house, and Chiron is in Aries within the 7th house: We're invited into fires of multiple varieties.
Aries Venus in the 6th house, the house of dedication...
invites blooms of creativity that may translate to feelings of restlessness and impulsive decisions in all types of scenarios and relationships, especially those where we feel we are the leader. It is a good time to slow down and consider another's point of view.
Aries Chiron in the 7th house, the house of interconnection and relationship...
interpersonal relationships, what they are to us and who we are in them, bubble to the surface. This particular moment can bring about our attachment thought-loops and patterns. Be conscious of your relational sensitivities, notice the feelings arriving early, and talk ourselves down from the dramas. Now is not the time to sabotage ourselves or hurt another; this is a waveform welcoming us into passion and transformation.
Aligned relationships manifest in many forms: we navigate them with instinct, dedication, passion, and transformation.
THE CRYSTALS
Crystals: Beautiful earthy totems connecting us to ancestral stories, overlapping human experiences, and the passage of time. We carry them with us as partners on our transformational, autonomous journeys.
Crystal: Guiding words.
Labradorite: I matter, I am matter.
Sodalite: My intellect is a welcome and essential part of my being.
Selenite: Clarity and alignment are welcome in my life.
TO THE TAROT
The Tarot: A mutualistic, benevolent platform for reflection, featuring the spherical human story in five parts. The Major Arcana, or the Hero’s Journey in the literary sense, from inspiration to revolution or The Fool to The World, and the four Minor Arcana. Cups. Wands. Swords. And Pentacles.
The deck in hand, I shuffle and wonder
In what ways might those of us in the SUNSOAKED Community activate available willfulness and passion to transform dreams into reality?
*Dreams that open our world, create safety to live well and freely, to explore life and the world in the ways that are light-aligned with our spirits.

THE MESSAGE: PISCES NEW MOON 2026
Emotional alchemy powers self-esteem, and only from a place of high regard for ourselves may we live in full expression, actualizing the life of our light-aligned dreams.
THE TAROT READING: PISCES NEW MOON 2026
We're building. Fours indicate foundations, structures, pillars, and our participation in the process of creating our own.
This reading is full of fours: The Queen of Cups, 13 or 1+3=4, 4 of Swords, 4 of Wands, 8 of Swords, divisible by 4 to a whole number. We're swimmin if fours: inner strength!
A very Queen of Cups thing for us to do, swim. Use our intuitive bodies, lung capacity, and skill to navigate the last days of Pisces with emotional alchemy. We are represented as welcoming the depth of being, intuition, exacting boundaries that are gentle on us and clear (as in kind) for the world, and outwardly pulsating with inner strength amplifying.
We build on our desires, understand our needs, and structure our behavior from the nervous system outward, creating our habits and behaviors. We build heat at the core of who we are by cultivating our systems to serve our needs. That is the Four of Wands.
We retreat into the mind. A force field around us, we submerge into the Four of Wands.
We process here: in a needed space after truths are revealed, realizations are had, and experiences shake us. Within building the intellectual and spiritual foundations needed to support the life we desire, we are changing our minds, our nervous systems, our processes, and our beliefs that are the forces behind our actions and outward presence. The building blocks are made of the insights we have gained from life's experiences.
We project and externalize the life we desire.
Visualizing what acting on and from this new space might look, feel, taste, smell, and sound like. From the tender chrysalis of world-building and visualizing our foundations, we interact with the world in divinely selfish ways.
From my work, I know many people find my writing and choose to work with me because they are spread thin, caregivers, and are overcoming everything from people-pleasing more than they would like to full-fledged co-dependency recovery (or, as I have called it before, lifelong interdependency fitness).
The social value of this divinely selfish self-care is that we embody the easefully boundaried Queen of Cups. With greater ease and comfort, we restrict the bullshit intrusive thoughts, energy suckers (people, situations, and tasks), allowing other people's problems, questions, and responsibilities to remain theirs. We don't take them on through untended open airwaves.
Freeing us to live our experiences deeply, gather awareness and discoveries that are of the now, and operate in the world as we are specifically designed to do.
Divine selfishness inherently liberates us and those around us.
For many of us, divine selfishness translates into meeting our existential needs, preparing us to lead by modeling how and inspiring others to do the same. As we shift from institutional trust to interdependent individuals in societies that rely on a global desire for us all to be well, welcome, and benevolently supported. Even if this all seems far away, curious or challenging to the frameworks of greater society and upbringing. You're here because you are aware of and ahead of the paradigm shift, and we are to be energetically prepared.
Since selfishness got us deep into economies and community systems calculated for extraction, let's look at a couple of things together:
Divine selfishness isn't trying to get center stage at the protest to feel like we're having the greatest impact; it isn't "treating ourselves" to more fast-fashion, duplicate tools, and feeding materialism; it isn't taking credit for someone else's work to get the upper hand; it isn't doubling down on hoarding wealth.
Divine selfishness is saying I take on this experience for the experience; it is trying something unexpected and unraveling failure; saying no to going above and beyond for spaces, places, and people that rarely hold you; it is regulating our nervous systems before reacting to rage-baiting or shame-inducing criticism; it is claiming our right to live full lives without believing that our light harms others, knowing nthat our light cannot harm another person only their discomfort with our shine can harm them.
Coming to divine selfishness feels liberating all at once, and then we can hit a wall of grief because we feel all of the moments we were complicit in our own harm.
The Four of Swords and Four of Wands are in energetic full swing: our work is working.
And yet, we are stuck in resistance, deeply afraid of going out and living as ourselves because last time (or that one time) we were fully embodied, we were damaged, harmed, scathed by life.
The Eight of Swords, Reversed, (or otherwise) deserves our complete compassion, as it is here to protect us. It is the wound, the lesson learned, attempting to do its job. Seriously, the holding back helped us survive until now. And we're not here to survive and keep all of this passion, willfulness, and dreamy vision to ourselves.
So let's take a moment to talk to that part of ourselves.
Hey part. I remember it too, the rejection, the shame, the exploitation, the depth of hurt. The pain sits right here in my body and it looks just how you think it looks and feels how you think it feels. I know you're here, trying to keep me safe and we agreed I'd never go through that kind of pain ever again. And when we made that agreement, I didn't know I'd be who I am now. So let me tell you who I am: I'm The Queen of Cups, emotionally resilient, adaptable, with self-esteem that cannot be shaken by redirection after misalignment. Do you you think you can walk with me as I take this new action, watch how I do things and witness how I feel, but from a distance. And when you see that I can handle it you can go play instead of doing all of this hard work. Can you do that with me? Can you do that FOR me?
The root of who you are is transforming in the awareness being built, in the internal dialogue, and in adjusted actions.
The Six of Wands: You're rising out of the forest of your mind, a full expression of who you are, well aware of your past and prepared for the future.
Emotional alchemy powers self-esteem, and only from a place of high regard for ourselves may we live in full expression, actualizing the life of our light-aligned dreams. Freeing ourselves and the world with concentric impact.
Infinitely,
Briget
